Why I Love You

You ask me why I love you
But I have no reason
All I know is what is within me
Telling me what I'm feeling is true

You never looked at me
With passion in your eyes
But somehow you have reached me
You see the love I can't disguise

You ask me why I love you
What isn't there to love?
Your smile, your heart and soul
Beckon me like no others does

I love you for who you are
Not what others want you to be
This love I feel is real
Oh surely you can see

The hurt I know you've been through
Let me share it and hold you so tight
You ask me why I love you
Can you tell me what I'm feeling's not right?
